Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely lubricate a differential mechanism and a transmission unit of a crank-type continuously variable transmission.SOLUTION: A differential mechanism 23 of a crank-type continuously variable transmission T includes a fixed shaft 43 fixed at one end and fitted to a transmission shaft 15 through a seal member 54 at the other end, and planetary gear mechanisms PGS1-PGS3 supported at an outer periphery of the fixed shaft 43 through bearings 44-49. As the fixed shaft 43 includes an axial oil passage 43a for supplying a lubricant to a shaft of the transmission shaft 15, and radial oil passages 43b-43d branched from the axial oil passage 43a and supplying the lubricant to the planetary gear mechanisms PGS1-PGS3, application of centrifugal force to the lubricant supplied through the axial oil passage 43a of the fixed shaft 43 is prevented, the lubricant can be surely supplied to the planetary gear mechanisms PGS1-PGS3, and a flow rate of the lubricant supplied into the shaft of the transmission shaft 15 from the axial oil passage 43a of the fixed shaft 43 is stabilized, thus the lubricant can be surely supplied to a plurality of transmission units 14 disposed at the outer periphery of the transmission shaft 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
