Abstract:

To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle which can connect a drive shaft and a differential side gear in a state of suppressing inclination of the drive shaft.SOLUTION: A drive shaft 16 is formed with a first cylindrical part 50 fit to a shaft fitting hole 30, and a second cylindrical part 52 fit to a bearing 42. The first cylindrical part 50 is provided on a tip side of the drive shaft 16 relative to the second cylindrical part 52 and is formed so as to have a diameter smaller than the second cylindrical part 52. A length Ls1 from the first cylindrical part 50 to the second cylindrical part 52 is formed so as to be shorter than a total length Lc2 of a length Lc1 from a shaft insertion side opening 32 of a shaft fitting hole 30 to the bearing 42 and a length Lc of the bearing 42. A total length Ls2 of a length Ls1 from the first cylindrical part 50 and the second cylindrical part 52 and a length Ls of the second cylindrical part 52 is formed so as to be longer than the length Lc1 from the shaft insertion side opening 32 to the bearing 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
