Abstract:

PURPOSE: To selectively operate a friction clutch means and a mechanical clutch means provided in a power transmission device transmitting the power from a power unit to the first drive shaft via the clutch means.

CONSTITUTION: The clutch device 24 of a power transmission device has a hydraulic multi-disk clutch system 34 transmitting the power from a power unit 14 to the first drive shaft at an optional ratio and a dog clutch system 36 arranged in parallel with the hydraulic multi-disk clutch system 34 and transmitting the power from the power unit 14 to the first drive shaft as it is when engaged.
