The power transmission device has the first power transmission mechanism 2 arranged in a power transmission path from a power source 1 to a wheel 6, and the second power transmission mechanisms 3 to 6 arranged in a path from the first power transmission mechanism 2 to the wheel 6. The first power transmission mechanism 2 has an input member 8 and an output member 9 arranged to relatively rotate, a cam face 19 formed on the output member 9, and a moving member 13 attached to the input member 8. Power transmission is carried out between the input member 8 and the output member 9 by engagement force between the moving member 13 and the cam face 19. It is characterized by that an oscillation frequency of the first power transmission mechanism 2 is differentiated from a common frequency of the second power transmission mechanisms 3, 4, 5, 6.
