To provide a power transmission device capable of stabilizing the support with respect to a differential case and a fixed case in the axial direction by suppressing a size increase.
The power transmission device 1 consists of a casing 3, input gear 5, fixed case 7, differential case 9, a pinion 11, a pair of side gears 13, 15, a differential mechanism 17 made up of the differential case 9, a pinion 11 and a pair of side gears 13, 15, an interrupting part 19 provided between the fixed case 7 and differential case 9 to connect and disconnect the fixed case 7 and differential case 9, and a pair of bearings 21, 23 rotatably supporting the differential case 9 with respect to the fixed case 7. The power transmission case keeps the interrupting part 19 between the fixed case 7 and differential case 9 in a radial direction and between a pair of bearings 21, 23 in an axial direction, and the bearing 21 on one side in the radial direction between the fixed case 7 and differential case 9 in a radial direction and adjacent to the differential case 9 in the axial direction, and positions and supports the fixed case 7 and differential case 9 in an axial direction.
