To provide a power transmission device capable of independently adjusting a clearance between a main clutch and an operation mechanism.
This power transmission device 1 includes an actuator 13 having an outside rotary member 3, an inside rotary member 5, the main clutch 7, a pilot clutch 9 and an electromagnet 11 and an operation mechanism 15, wherein the outside rotary member 3 includes a bottomed housing 19 and a rotor 21. The rotor 21 includes a magnetic path forming part 23 adjacently arranged in the axial direction to the pilot clutch 9 and a clearance adjusting part 25 adjacently arranged in the axial direction to the operation mechanism 15. The clearance adjusting part 25 is integrally rotatably threadedly engaged with the magnetic path forming part 23 via a threaded engagement part 27 formed between the radial direction with the magnetic path forming part 23, and the main clutch 7 and the operation mechanism 15 are adjusted in a clearance in the axial direction by the movement in the axial direction of the clearance adjusting part 25 by threadedly engaging the clearance adjusting part 25 with the threaded engagement part 27.
