Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily suppress slip-down of a vehicle in starting at an uphill.SOLUTION: A power transmission device includes a continuously variable transmission 6 having two relatively-rotatable disc members 44A, 44B respectively rotatably and tiltably holding a plurality of planetary balls 45, and changing a gear ratio by tilting each of the planetary balls 45 by the relative rotation, a gear change mechanism 7 connecting or disconnecting a power transmission passage between a drive wheel and an output member 52 of the continuously variable transmission 6, a power connecting/disconnecting mechanism 101 for connecting or disconnecting a power transmission passage between a power source 100 and an input member 51 of the continuously variable transmission 6, and an electronic control device 110 for controlling between the drive wheel and the continuously variable transmission 6 in a power transmittable state, when the power transmission passage between the drive wheel and the continuously variable transmission 6 is cut off, and further the power transmission passage between the power source 100 and the continuously variable transmission 6 is cut off, even in a case where the a shift range during stopping is in an advance travel range state.
