Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an axial length of a power transmission device including a torque converter and a transmission.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 10 includes a starter 12, an automatic transmission, and a transmission case 11 for accommodating the starter 12 and the automatic transmission. A pump impeller 140 of the starter 12 has a sleeve 141 which is extended to an axial direction of an input shaft 20i toward the automatic transmission, the transmission case 11 includes a front support 111 having a cylindrical part 111b which is inserted into a cylindrical part 141b of the sleeve 141v from the automatic transmission side, the sleeve 141 has an abutment part 141d which protrudes to the inside of a radial direction from an internal peripheral face at a flange part 141a side rather than an end at the automatic transmission side, and the movement of the starter 12 to the automatic transmission side is regulated by the indirect abutment of the abutment part 141d on a tip of the cylindrical part 111b of the front support 111 via a ring member 147.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
