Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of components and to simplify manufacturing processes by enabling a clutch drum to be coupled and fixed to a driven shaft without specially using fastening means such as a bolt in a power transmission device comprising the driven shaft which is fitted relatively rotatably to an outer periphery of a driving shaft connecting with a prime mover and is hollow, a friction clutch capable of making a connection and a disconnection between the driving shaft and the driven shaft, and a one-way clutch for allowing power transmission only in one way from the driven shaft to the driving shaft.SOLUTION: A clutch drum D of a friction clutch C1 has a cylindrical boss part 15 concentrically surrounding an outer lace 21 of a one-way clutch C2, and the boss part 15 is pressed in an outer peripheral surface of the outer lace 21, so that at least a part of the boss part 15 and at least a part of an engaging element 23 of the one-way clutch C2 are positioned in the same region in an axial direction of a driven shaft 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
