Abstract:
To provide a power transmission device with which the transmission capacity when engine braking occurs can be changed optionally without changing the transmission capacity during acceleration.SOLUTION: A second clutch member 4b has a dividing wall part 4bb that separates drive-side clutch plates (6a-6c) and driven-side clutch plates (7a-7c) in an axial direction to form a first region α on a pressure member 5 side and a second region β on a centrifugal clutch means 9 side. When centrifugal clutch means 9 is actuated, the second clutch member brings the drive-side clutch plates (6a-6c) and the driven-side clutch plates (7a-7c) in the first region α and the second region β into pressure contact with each other. When a cam for transmitting back torque is actuated, the second clutch member brings the drive-side clutch plates (6a, 6b) and the driven-side clutch plates (7a, 7b) in the first region α into pressure contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
