Abstract:
To provide a power transmission device which can improve the mountability of a clutch mechanism for selectively connecting a cylinder member for accommodating a planetary gear mechanism and a rotating element of the planetary gear mechanism.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 1 having a cylinder member 33 for accommodating a planetary gear mechanism therein and a clutch mechanism 39 for selectively connecting a prescribed rotating element 6 and the cylinder member 33 comprises: a cylindrical intermediate member 26 which rotates integrally with the prescribed rotating element 6, and protruding from one end part of the cylinder member 33; a fixing member 21 inserted into an internal peripheral side of the intermediate member 26; a first bearing 31 fit between the intermediate member 26 and the fixing member 21; and a second bearing 38 fit between the cylinder member 33 and the intermediate member 26. The clutch mechanism 39 is constituted so as to connect an external peripheral side of a portion protruding from the cylinder member 33 of the intermediate member 26 and the cylinder member 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
