To provide a power transmission mechanism and a crushing device with power transmitted by the power transmission mechanism allowing power transmission from a power transmission shaft to a power transmitted shaft when the power of the device is interrupted while avoiding an excessive load acting on a speed change mechanism or a driving machine.
The power transmission mechanism incorporates a pressurizing mechanism 26 which brings a pressurizing plate 22 into pressure-contact with a friction plate 21 so that the friction plate 21 and the pressurizing plate 22 slide on each other when requested torque on an output shaft 37 side becomes equal to or larger than set torque, and the friction plate 21 and the pressurizing plate 22 rotate integrally and transmit power to an output shaft 37 when the requested torque is below the set torque, and a torque limiter 20 including a pressing mechanism 80 giving predetermined pressing force 81 to the pressurizing plate 22 and the friction plate 21 in a pressure release state where pressure-contact force to the pressurizing plate 22 and the friction plate 21 by the pressurizing mechanism 26 is released.
