To provide a power transmission mechanism for an in-vehicle electronic apparatus capable of stably generating high torque on a gear with a clutch incorporated in a reduction gear row.
The power transmission mechanism transmitting the rotating power of a motor 4 to a monitor device 3 via the reduction gear row 5 and having the gear 6 with the clutch absorbing over load in the reduction gear row 5, is composed of a metal large diameter gear 10 and a small diameter gear 13 having the gear 6 with the clutch coaxially arranged, a metal friction plate 15 rotating as one body with the small diameter gear 13, a plurality of steel balls 11 rotating as one body with the large diameter gear 10, and a spring member 12 pressing the steel balls 11 against the friction plate 15 to generate friction force between each steel ball 11 and the friction plate 15.
