Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission mechanism for enabling the transmission of power in the state of reducing the influences of cogging torque, and to provide an input device equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A power transmission mechanism 30 includes a first driving gear 51 fixed to a positively/reversely rotatable driving shaft, a second driving gear 52 fixed to the driving shaft 32 so as to be rotatable integrally with the first driving gear 51, a first driven gear 61 fixed to a driven shaft 63 arranged in parallel to the driving shaft 32 for engaging with the first driving gear 51, and a second driven gear 62 fixed to the driven shaft 63 so as to be rotatable integrally with the first driven gear 61 for engaging with the second driving gear 52. The first driving gear 51 and the first driven gear 61, and the second driving gear 52 and the second driven gear 62 selectively engage with each other via engaging parts 61a, 62a depending on the positive/reverse rotation of the driving shaft 32, respectively.
