A power transmission plant contains at least one AC network 6 which is connected with the plant via a DC network 1 for a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and a first station 5. It contains at least one VSC converting equipment 10 which converts a DC voltage into an AC voltage or vice versa, and an equipment 11 controlling the converting equipment. The AC network is a weak network, i.e., a network which generates no power at all. The greater part of addition connected with the AC network is constituted of one or more motors.
