Abstract:
To provide a power transmission system in which power is transmitted to a mobile body in a non-contact manner while the mobile body including a power reception device moves, and that can appropriately drive and stop a power transmission device with respect to a passing position of the mobile body. even when a positional shift between the power reception device and the power transmission device occurs.SOLUTION: A power transmission system comprises: a plurality of power transmission devices arranged in a row on a movement path of a mobile body; a plurality of inverters for supplying power to the power transmission devices via power distribution systems; and a power transmission control device. Each power transmission device is connected with one of the power distribution systems different from the other that is connected with the power transmission system located before and after thereof. The power transmission control device detects a peak current value that is a maximum value of a current flowing through the power distribution systems. Then, the power transmission control device controls driving and stopping of each power transmission device based on a standard value obtained by dividing a current value of current flowing through the power distribution system by the peak current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
