To provide a power transmission system capable of reducing the amount of grid electric power used by efficiently utilizing the surplus generated electric power.SOLUTION: In a power transmission system S, each building H is provided with a power generation unit 16 for generating electricity using natural energy, and stores the electric power generated by the power generation unit 16 in storage batteries 60 and 120.
