Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device that can suppress shock in shift transmission.SOLUTION: The power transmission device is mounted on a vehicle and includes: an engine; a first electric motor; a second electric motor; a stepless transmission part: a multistep transmission part; and a controller. The stepless transmission part includes a differential mechanism which has a first element connected with the engine, a second element connected with the first electric motor, and a third element connected with the second electric motor. The multistep transmission part is connected with the third element. The controller restricts a range where torque input into the multistep transmission part changes in a whole period or part of period under gear change based on a gas pedal opening or a change gradient of the gas pedal opening.
