To provide a power transmitting device of a compressor which can avoid damage of spline axle portion, and employ a torque limiter of axial force break type when a rotary shaft portion has a spline shaft portion for receiving torque.
The device comprises a pulley 11 rotatably attached to a housing 12, a hub 26 integrally rotated with the pulley 11, and a torque transmitting member 22 transmitting torque from the hub 26 to a rotary shaft 17. Furthermore, the hub 26 has a female screw hole 27 with a female screw 27a formed, and the rotary shaft 17 has a press fitting axle portion 18a and spline axle portion 18b. Additionally, the torque transmitting member 22 comprises a complex hole 25 supporting the rotary shaft 17, a screw shaft portion 24 screwed to the female screw hole 27, and a thrust seat portion 23a receiving thrust load, furthermore, the complex hole 25 has a fitting hole portion 25a closely fit with a press fitting axle portion 18a, and a spline hole portion 25b with the spline shaft portion 18b inserted.
