Abstract:
Provided is a power unit case structure with which is it possible to make it less likely that the flow of an airflow along an externally exposed cover is disturbed, even if the cover is fastened using fastening members. A power unit case structure (13) is provided with a power unit case (13) accommodating a prime mover (20) or a transmission (43) for transmitting the drive of the prime mover (20), and a cover (41) which covers the power unit case (13) from the side in the vehicle mounting direction, wherein: fastening holes (120, 121) for fastening the cover (41) to the power unit case (13) using fastening members (154) are provided in the cover (41); the cover (41) includes cap members (130) for closing the fastening holes (120, 121); an intake port (24a) for taking outside air into the power unit case (13) or another component (24) is provided in the vicinity of the power unit case (13); and the intake port (24a) is positioned downstream of the fastening holes (120, 121) in the direction of travel of the vehicle.
