Abstract:
To obtain a power unit for a motor cycle which has a boss part having an advantage in terms of strength, and can firmly support a footrest.
The power unit 20 is equipped with a case housing a centrifugal type clutch 34 and a support member 86 which is disposed below the case, and supports right and left footrests 85a, 85b projecting to the side of the case. The case has an under surface 83, and a plurality of boss parts 92a to 92d projecting downward are formed on the part positioned below the centrifugal type clutch of the under surface. The support member is fixed to the lower end surfaces 95, 97 of the boss parts.
