Abstract:
To provide a power unit of a saddle riding-type vehicle capable of effectively preventing mud splash from a front wheel.SOLUTION: A power unit 32 includes a crank case 38 rotatably supporting a crank shaft 61, a rotor disposed on the crank shaft 61 at an outer side of the crank case 38, and rotated about a rotation axis Rx of the crank shaft 61, and a rotor cover 55a connected to the crank case 38, surrounding the rotor by a peripheral wall 81a around the rotation axis Rx and forming a housing space of the rotor. A front surface of an outer peripheral face of the rotor cover 55a is provided with a downward face 106 projected to a radial outer part from an outer peripheral surface, and having a prescribed length from an outer end 81b of the peripheral wall 81a toward an inner side in a vehicle width direction in parallel with the rotation axis Rx.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
