Abstract:

To apply an engine brake of a constant braking ratio irrespective of a gear ratio on a shift stage selected when the engine brake is applied using a power unit having an engine and multistage transmission integrated thereinto.

A driving one-way clutch DC to be coupled when power on the side of a crank shaft 54 is larger than power on the side of an output part 61 is disposed on a driving path D over which power is transmitted from the crank shaft 54 to the output part 61 via a multistage transmission 60. Aside from the driving path D, a power transmission path B is extended from the output part 61 to the crank shaft 54. An engine brake one-way clutch BC to be coupled when the power on the side of the output part 61 is larger than the power on the side of the crank shaft 54 and an engine brake gear train BG that conveys the power received from the output part 61 to the crank shaft 54 via the engine brake one-way clutch BC are disposed on the power transmission path B.
