To increase a stroke by increasing a shrinkage rate in a power unit using rubber pneumatically shrunk.
This power unit is provided with tubes which are constrained in a longitudinal direction and swell in a radial direction when a gaseous, liquid or solid matter or the mixture of them is injected. Outside of each of these tubes, a cylindrical sleeve shrinking in the longitudinal direction and the radial direction is arranged. Both of the ends are constrained, and an injection port is formed at one end. A polyester-based, polyamide-based, polyethylene-based, polyimide-based, polystyrene-based or polycarbonate-based film or fiber, or a film or fiber obtained by mixing them is used for the tube. In the unit, a plurality of the tubes are arranged to control the injection speed of a gaseous, liquid or solid matter or a polymer of them to behave as if the tubes were a single power unit.
