Abstract:
To provide a power unit that is characterized by a high degree of quietness of traveling, and a vehicle having such a power unit.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a power unit, which comprises a two-cylinder reciprocating piston engine that has two pistons and two reverse crankshafts (3, 4) connected to the pistons, at least one generator (5) that is rotatable in the same direction with respect to the first crankshaft (3) and in the opposite direction with respect to the second crankshaft (4), and a camshaft (6) having valve cams (7). The power unit is provided with a flywheel mass element (21) that is located on the second crankshaft (4) or a flywheel mass compensation shaft, and a compensation camshaft (10) that includes at least one compensation cam element (11) operably connected to a linearly-guided compensation mass (13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
