Abstract:
To provide a power device capable of mechanically switching a connection state of a driving source and a wheel according to a vehicle running state.SOLUTION: In a power device 1 including a motor 2 and a transmission 4, the transmission 4 includes a first planetary gear mechanism 11, a second planetary gear mechanism 12, an idler 13, a first one-way rotation restriction mechanism OWB1, and a second one-way rotation restriction mechanism OWB2. A sun gear S1 of the first planetary gear mechanism 11 is connected to the motor 2, a carrier C2 of the second planetary gear mechanism 12 is connected to wheels 3A, 3B, a ring gear R1 of the first planetary gear mechanism 11 and a ring gear R2 of the second planetary gear mechanism 12 are connected, a carrier C1 of the first planetary gear mechanism 11 is connected to a sun gear S2 of the second planetary gear mechanism 12 through the idler 13, the first one-way rotation restriction mechanism OWB1 restricts rotation in the other direction, of the idler 13, and the second one-way rotation restriction mechanism OWB2 restricts rotation in the other direction, of the ring gear R2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
