Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter configured for pre-emphasis.SOLUTION: A transmitter 308 includes: a non-current mode logic voltage-driven single-ended-termination driver circuit 324 that includes a first termination point and a second termination point; a pre-emphasis encoder circuit 320 that receives a pre-emphasis signal. The transmitter 308 includes additional current supplied to the transmission lines to compensate for losses in the transmission lines due to high frequencies by detecting a transition in a data stream, adjusting a source determination resistance and obtaining a gain from the adjusted source determination resistance.
