Abstract:
To obtain the subject precast block incorporated with a specified amount of specific sintered compact clinker having a specific granular size as aggregate to improve both the spalling resistance and abrasion resistance of the block.
This precast block contains 10-50wt.% of high-alumina sintered compact clinker as aggregate 20-150mm in granular size containing ≥50wt.% Al2O3. The matrix of this precast block is high-alumina cement bond type castable, magnesia-based substance. Specifically, for example, this precast block contains 30wt.% of high-alumina sintered compact clinker 50-100mm in granular size composed of 80wt.% Al2O3 and 20wt.% SiO2.
