To provide precast blocks for radiation shield and a radiation shied structure consisting of the blocks which can be constructed easily in the assembly and disassembly of them even in a narrower space, can also be reused without generating any waste even after the disassembly of them and is resistant to fracture.
The precast blocks 1 for radiation shield are made by forming a resin layer 3 containing a boron compound, aggregate and a resin binder and a concrete layer 4 in metal frames 2 as outside frames. The radiation shield structure is employed for absorbing or moderating radiations such as neutrons and consists of a side-wall part made by piling up and connecting the precast blocks 1 for radiation shield and a ceiling part made by connecting them in parallel horizontally in the upper part of the side-wall part. The side-wall part and the ceiling part surround an internal space which embraces a radiation emission source.
