PURPOSE: To enable metering with high accuracy, by employing a mercury floating system and a magnetic bearing system in a movable part relating to weighing and performing the correction of temp.
CONSTITUTION: The metering bowl supported by the support rod 7 directly connected to the float 6 floating in mercury 1a of a first mercury receiving tank 1 is horizontally held by a ring shaped magnet 9 and, when a substance to be weighed is placed on the bowl 8, the float 6 falls and the surface of mercury in a weighing detection cylinder 4 rises in proportion to the wt. of the substance to be weighed and the resistance value of an electric resistance film 4a becomes small while loop current increases. When mercuries 1a, 2a in first and second mercury receiving tanks 1, 2 were expanded by environmental temp., both of the resistance values of resistance films 4a, 5a become small. Because the resistance film 5a in a temp. compensation cylinder 5 is constituted as a parallel circuit with respect to a metering indicator, the current increment due to the environmental temp. superposed to the loop current is corrected and metering can be performed with good accuracy.
