Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor woven fabric in which optical fiber yarns in a bundling region in an intermediate part from a design region to a collection end part can be bundled by using other constituent yarns as they are; to provide a woven fabric which is obtained by using the precursor woven fabric, and in which the bundling region of the optical fiber yarns is formed by bundling by the other constituent yarns; and to provide a method for producing the woven fabric.SOLUTION: First constituent yarns 20 include optical fiber yarns 21. A woven fabric 10 includes: a collection end part 15 with the first constituent yarns 20 collected therein which is located at the end part of the woven fabric 10, and into which light can be introduced; a bundling region 17 in which the first constituent yarns 20 are arranged so as to be gradually bundled together from a position more inside than the collection end part 15 toward the collection end part 15; and a design region 19 which is located more inside than the bundling region 17, and in which the first constituent yarns 20 and second constituent yarns 30 are woven so that light leaked out from the optical fiber yarns 21 is visible from the side of one surface 10a of the woven fabric 10. In the bundling region 17, the second constituent yarns 30 bundle the first constituent yarns 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
