Abstract:
To predict a peak of ripeness of fruits and vegetables.SOLUTION: A prediction apparatus includes: a storage unit which stores in advance deliciousness information on deliciousness of fruits and vegetables, the information being formed by associating appearance, sugar content, and acid level of the fruits and vegetables with the number of days after shipment; a communication unit which communicates various kinds of information with an external apparatus; an acquisition unit which acquires video data of a target fruit or vegetable and code information including at least information on shipping date and time of the target fruit or vegetable, from the communication unit; a feature extraction unit which extracts an appearance state of the target fruit or vegetable on the basis of the video data of the target fruit or vegetable; and a prediction unit which acquires information on sugar content and acid level of the target fruit or vegetable, from the deliciousness information stored in the storage unit, based on the number of days after shipment and the appearance state of the target fruit or vegetable extracted by the feature extraction unit, to be predicted as fruit information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
