Abstract:
To provide a predictive maintenance assessment device, a predictive maintenance assessment method, and a program, with can know the occurrence of abnormality that affects apparatus operation before the abnormality actually occurs.SOLUTION: An average value calculation unit (first calculation unit) of the predictive maintenance assessment device acquires an AE output (signal) outputted in time series by at least one AE sensor installed on the surface of a metal housing of a gear box (apparatus), and calculates a first quantity (e.g., average value) pertaining to the magnitude of the AE output for a prescribed duration of time. A standard deviation calculation unit (second calculation unit) calculates a second quantity (e.g., standard deviation) pertaining to variation in the magnitude of the AE output. Meanwhile, a state display unit displays the first quantity pertaining to the magnitude of the AE output and the second quantity pertaining to variation in the magnitude of the AE output by plotting them on a two-dimensional map with each axis representing each of the first quantity and the second quantity. Since the positions of plotted points indicate the operation state of the gear box, it is possible to find a sign of abnormality occurring to the gear box in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
