Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predrive circuit and a display unit for driving an output element so as to stably transmit a control signal even when a reference potential generated at an output element side is turned into a high voltage.
SOLUTION: A comparator circuit 41a compares an input signal with a reference voltage signal being the reference of comparison. An input level shift circuit 41b converts an input signal having a first reference potential into a signal VLS1 corresponding to a substrate potential Vsub based on the comparison result, and outputs it. An output level shift circuit 41c converts the signal VLS1 outputted by the output level shift circuit 41b into a signal VLS2 corresponding to an output power supply voltage Vcc1, and outputs it. A signal amplifier circuit 42 outputs a driving signal Vg for driving a switch SW5 of an output element by amplifying the signal VLS2 outputted by the output level shift circuit 41c.
