Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly put out the falem of burning gas by shutting-off a gas stream when an incorporated sensing element senses earth quake having a magnitude greater than a predetermined value and by blowing out residual gas in a pipe line to the atomosphere by means of a pressure reducing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A sensing element 10 jumps up so as to close a valve seat 19 when the flame of burning gas is subjected to earth quake having a magnitude greater than a predetermined value or when a hose or a pipe line is damaged, and therefore the gas pressure in chambers A, C is gradually decreased. Since the pressure in a chamber B is always maintained constant, a piston 13 is pushed up, overcoming spring 14 while residual gas is blown upward through a gap in a valve shaft guide 5 due to the rise of a blow valve shaft 4. Accordingly, residual gas in the pipe line reversely flows through a by-pass pipe 6 and then is discharged, thereby the flame on burning may be preextingished.
