Abstract:
To provide a preform for molding a plastic bottle having ≤21.0 g resin weight and 600 ml volume.
The preform for molding the plastic bottle is provided with a plug part, a support ring, a drum part and a bottom part closing the end part of the drum part. The preform is controlled to have ≤21.0 g resin weight, <92.5 mm overall length, <24.0 mm drum diameter and is provided with a thin walled part under the support ring comprising the minimum thin wall part and having 5-10 mm length under the support ring. The wall thickness of the drum part is made to be thicker than that of the thin walled part under the support ring and the wall thickness of the bottom part is gradually reduced toward a gate part.
