To provide a plastic bottle, a preform, and a method for manufacturing a preform having gas barrier property.SOLUTION: A preform 1 has a mouth portion 10, a trunk portion 16, and a bottom portion 17 successively in the axial direction. The trunk portion 16 has an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer 20a is between an outer layer 18a and an inner layer 19a. The intermediate layer 20a has gas barrier property and the like. A region of height H1 (H1=5-20 mm) from the mouth top surface 15 and a region of height H2 (H2=3-20 mm) from the bottom of the bottom portion 17 have no intermediate layer 20a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
