Title:
PREHEATING OF INTERFACE BETWEEN MARKING MEMBER/SUBSTRATE FOR PRINTING AND THE LIKE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012042954
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a system and a method for reducing the total amount of energy required for a heat source and also providing necessary heating, whereby a warm-up period and unused heat energy can be reduced.

In order to facilitate fixation of a substrate 22 with a marking member 18 in its vicinity, preheating of the substrate 22 (or the marking member 18) is used. By mainly heating a member to be an interface between the substrate 22 and the marking member 18 and by minimizing the distance between a heating point toward the substrate 22 (or the marking member 18) and a marking holding part in a printing system 10, the time amount for releasing heat energy is minimized before the marking member 18 is added to a surface 20 of the substrate 22, and further in order to reduce energy consumption, controllable heating may be used. Besides, in order to provide rapid and necessary heating, optical heating can be used.
