PURPOSE: To significantly shorten preparatory time for operation by test-printing after fitting together the original position of a rotary angle of each rotary member, and correcting the print according to correction data inputted based on test-printed document for prematching.

CONSTITUTION: First the original positions of rotary angles or rotary members such as printing barrel, wheel for working perforations and stitching barrel for transversal stitching are fitted together and then test-printing is carried out. Next, the rotary angle position and rotary speed of each of the afore-mentioned rotary members are corrected and prematched according to correction data inputted based on test-printed document. In addition, correction data used for prematching for the first time is stored and the original position fitting is carried out for the second and following times in the same manner as for the first time. At the same time, the print is prematched according to stored correction data. Thus it is made possible to easily prematch the print at the time of operation start-up and significantly shorten preparatory time for operation.
