Title:
Premixed compression ignition engine system
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6365617
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly suppress combustion noise and secure combustion stability by accurately delaying a timing for compressing and igniting air-fuel mixture on the outer periphery side of a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: On each of a crown surface (75) of a piston (69) and a lower face (79) of a cylinder head (67), a heat insulating layer (92) is provided facing an outer periphery side space of a combustion chamber (73). When the operating condition of an engine (3) is in a high-load region, middle compression stroke injection (203) and compression top dead center injection (205), and water injection (207) are executed, using a fuel injection valve (37) for injecting fuel to a central space and the outer periphery side space of the combustion chamber (73), and using a water injection valve (47) for injecting water to the outer periphery side space of the combustion chamber (73), respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
