Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a favorable operation condition without generating knocking, in particular even in an high output operation, by restraining the knocking based on the operation condition of an engine, in a premixcompressing self-igniting engine in which oxygen-containing gas for combustion in an intake passage is sucked into a combustion chamber, in which fuel is supplied to the gas, and in which resulting premix gas is compressed in the combustion chamber to be self-ignited so as to maintain rotation of a crank shaft. SOLUTION: This engine is provided with an operation condition detecting means C for detecting the operation condition of the engine, a diffusion condition regulating means A for regulating a diffusion condition of the fuel g to the oxygen-containing gas (a) in the premix gas when self-ignited in the combustion chamber 11, and a control means B for actuating the regulating means A based on the operation condition detected by the detecting means C to control the diffusion condition.
