PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mixing characteristics and eliminate the risk of production of back fire over the entire operation. SOLUTION: A premixing burner is adapted such that it includes an internal chamber 20 for stabilizing a turning flow, which chamber includes an inner body 13 extending conically in a flow direction of the turning flow, and an outer cover of which chamber is interrupted by a least one air inflow slit arranged tangentially in the longitudinal extending direction for the flow of a combustion medium 15 into the internal chamber 20. In the premixing chamber, supply passages 11c, 12c extend on the upstream side of tangential air inflow slits 11a, 12a, which include a means for producing an eddy on an air stream 23 and a means for introducing a fuel 24.
