Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform the write and the readout of data even to a prepaid card where a magnetic stripe is formed at a different position.
CONSTITUTION: The prepaid card 1 is sucked in a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the magnetic stripe 8 so as to detect the magnetic stripe by a magnetic sensor 3. A head part 4 is moved to the position of the magnetic stripe detected by the sensor 3, and the prepaid card is stopped. Thereafter, the head part is moved in parallel with the magnetic stripe at fixed speed, and the data is written in and read out from the magnetic stripe.
