Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid gas remainder management system and a gas meter to be used for the relevant system in which an extension of time from reminding to cutoff of feeding of gas is approximately fixed for each consumer's house.
SOLUTION: A gas meter 10 detects a flow rate of gases flowing from a gas container to a downstream side gas instrument and calculates a quantity of used gases by integrating the detected gas flow rates. A control center 20 permits the use of gases for a quantity corresponding to a prepaid amount of gas charges. The gas meter 10 monitors the remainder of gases of a difference between the gauged quantity of used gases and a quantity of gases permitted to use and determines whether or not the gas remainder is equal to or less than warning determination value. During a prescribed learning period, based upon the detected gas flow rate, the warning determination value is reset.
