PURPOSE: To mount a before-and-behind leak preventing sheet under a linear manufacturing line and to enhance manufacturing efficiency, by linearly arranging the flow directions of the continuous raw fabric of the before-and-behind leak preventing sheet, a liquid pervious sheet, an absorbing body and a liquid impervious sheet from a planar view.

CONSTITUTION: When the delivery speed of a liquid pervious sheet 3 is set to 1, the raw fabric 10' of a before-and-behind leak preventing sheet is delivered at a speed of 0.15W0.65 and intermittently coated with a hot melt adhesive 17 by a coating head 14 before reaching a vacuum roll 12. Thereafter, the coated sheet is punched in an oval shape 10a by an oval cutter means 15. Subsequently, the cutting blade of a lateral cutting roll 16 intermittently applied to the punched sheet on a vacuum roll 12 to divide the sheet into individual before-and-behind leak preventing sheet pieces 10 through cutting lines 18. Each of the divided before-and-behind leak preventing sheet pieces 10 is superposed on the liquid pervious sheet 3 by the vacuum roll 12 to be bonded thereto by the hot melt adhesive 17. Thereafter, an absorbing body 1 is laminated to this laminate sheet at the inlet part of a conveyor 13 and a liquid impervious sheet 2 is subsequently laminated.
