PURPOSE: To economically prepare a high quality anionic surfactant except soap, by using a continuous cutting replaceable type mixing reaction apparatus wherein stationary discs and rotary discs both of which are provided with fluid passing apertures are alternately superposed.
CONSTITUTION: Sulfuric ester supplied from an inlet 1 and an aqueous alkali solution supplied from an inlet 2 are cut, mixed and substituted in a cutting replaceable type mixing reaction apparatus wherein stationary discs 3 and rotary discs 4, both of which are provided with fluid passing apertures, are alternately superposed and discharged as sulfuric ester salt having no air bubbles mixed therein from an outlet 5. In this case, said apparatus can be cooled from the outside in order to prevent the rising in temp. by reaction heat. In the same way, a carboxylate, sulfonate or phoshoric ester salt type surfactant except soap is obtained. By this method, the high quality anionic surfactant is economically prepared in a concn. range from usual concn. to 50W80% concn. without requiring lower alcohol as a solvent.
