Abstract:
PURPOSE: To develop an artificial grain at a low cost by scattering colored chips through a screen drilled patterned after a grain.
CONSTITUTION: A screen 2 drilled 3 patterned after a grain is placed on a plate body 1 made in a layer and colored chips 4 are scattered thereon from above. Finally, the chips are pressed by heat to be finished in a plate. An artificial grained veneer can be massproduced economically.
