Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for preparing a superior oxidation catalyst contg. vanadium, antimony and tin in their oxide states without using any tin oxide sol.
CONSTITUTION: This preparation method for oxidation catalyst contg. vanadium, antimony and tin in their oxide states comprises a procedure for making an aq. slurry of a mixture of source batch materials comprising compounds of the elements to be included in the final catalyst, the subsequent drying and heat-calcining procedures for making an active catalyst, wherein a stannous salt of a 1-18C acyclic, monocarboxylic acid contg. no ethylenic or acetylenic carbon-to-carbon unsaturation bond is used as the source batch material for tin.
