Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation of a decorative molding having crack patterns rich in variety and beautiful scaly patterns with aurora tones and a decorative molding obtained by the same.SOLUTION: The preparation comprises a step of preparing a base layer 6 that is a resin molding, step of forming an undercoat layer 7 on the surface of this base layer 6, step of forming an aurora-toned vapor deposition film 8 by laying a titanium dioxide film and a silicon dioxide film alternately over the undercoat layer 7, and step of forming a top coat layer 9 on the aurora-toned vapor deposition film 8 so as to make the undercoat layer 7 develop irregular cracks when the undercoat layer 7 is formed, thereby making scaly patterns P with ununiform sizes and shapes appear with the aurora-toned vapor deposition film 8 formed on the undercoat layer 7.
