Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a burn, and make a judgment whether a heating container is present on the heating top surface or not by a constitution wherein a heating top surface of high temperature is hard to be touched by hands in a halogen cooking stove having a halogen lamp having a flat heating surface as a heating source.
SOLUTION: This halogen cooking stove has a constitution in which an upper case 14 and a lower case 15 are connected to each other to form an integral assembly. The upper case 14 is of an upper face member made of metal in which its recess part is opened, and its temperature is allowed to rise to a certain degree and a pair of a light emitting element 19 and a light receiving element 20 are arranged at the recess formed part of the upper case 14 made of metal.
